The Second Year – First Semester (Fall 2026) of the Bachelor’s in Islamic Theology and Da’wah – Online program at the American Imams Academy (AIA) is designed to deepen students’ understanding of Islamic scholarship and strengthen their ability to engage with classical Islamic disciplines through a structured and academically grounded curriculum.

This semester offers a comprehensive selection of courses covering Islamic commercial jurisprudence, Prophetic biography, religions and sects, misconceptions about the Qur’an, Arabic grammar and morphology, and analytical Hadith studies. Together, these courses provide students with a balanced foundation that combines Islamic law, Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Arabic language, Prophetic studies, and comparative religious understanding.

Islamic Commercial Jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Mu’amalat) – Dr. Muhammad Fawzy
Jurisprudence of the Prophetic Biography (Fiqh al-Seerah) – Dr. Emad Fadel
Religions and Sects (Milal wa Nihal) – Dr. Amr Dabour
Misconceptions About the Qur’an – Dr. Ahmed Abouseif
Arabic Language 1: Grammar and Morphology – Dr. Al-Baraa Safwan
Analytical Hadith – Dr. Mohamed El-Safoury

The program is online and based on the authentic Al-Azhar curriculum, providing students with an opportunity to pursue structured Islamic studies while developing the knowledge and skills necessary for academic, educational, and Da’wah-related pursuits.

Overall Objective:
To equip students with a deeper and more integrated understanding of Islamic theology and scholarship by connecting foundational Islamic sciences with practical jurisprudence, Arabic language proficiency, Prophetic guidance, Hadith analysis, and the study of religions and contemporary misconceptions.
