About

This course examines common misconceptions, doubts, and criticisms raised about the Qur’an and provides a scholarly and evidence-based response to them. It addresses issues related to the Qur’an’s revelation, preservation, compilation, interpretation, linguistic style, historical context, and its relationship with reason and modern knowledge. Students are introduced to the methods used to identify and critically analyze misconceptions, while developing the ability to respond to questions and challenges with sound Islamic scholarship, logical reasoning, and appropriate academic evidence. The course aims to strengthen students’ understanding of the Qur’an and equip them with the intellectual tools needed to address contemporary doubts and misconceptions in a balanced and constructive manner.
