About

This course provides a comprehensive study of Islamic jurisprudence related to financial, commercial, and social transactions. It explores the fundamental principles and legal rulings governing contracts and dealings in Islam, including buying and selling, leasing, partnerships, loans, guarantees, and other forms of financial transactions. Students examine the conditions, pillars, and objectives of Islamic contracts, as well as prohibited practices such as interest (riba), excessive uncertainty (gharar), and fraud. The course also addresses contemporary financial and commercial issues from an Islamic legal perspective, enabling students to understand and apply the principles of Fiqh al-Mu‘amalat in modern economic and social contexts.
